Pickles Cabin

Wonderful stay for a fall getaway! The place was breathtaking, easy to find, and matched the description perfectly!

This place was absolutely amazing! It was unbelievably peaceful and private! Even though it rained most of our stay it was still nice to just hang out! We did see a review about mosquitoes and I’ll be quite honest they were not that bad even with all the rain! There was also a pretty wicked storm and Deb check in on us to make sure everything was okay! I appreciated it! We would absolutely stay here again for so beautiful fall hikes in all the state parks nearby!

We loved our short stay at Pickle's Cabin and definitely plan to come back. It looked exactly the same as in the pictures, and it was the cutest vibe inside. Unfortunately it rained on one of our 2 days there so we didn't get to use the outdoor fire pit which initially caught our eye when finding a place to stay, but regardless, the experience was still amazing. The barbecue outside worked great, and we were able to light the indoor wood fire and still get that cabin feel. There was also wifi despite the listing saying there wouldn't be which was an added bonus! Just keep into consideration that the driveway was 1) kind of hard to find and 2) pretty far into the woods so make sure your vehicle is able to handle that. Overall a 10/10 stay! 😊

The cabin was great! We enjoyed our experience here and would book it again in the future. There was Wi-Fi, which was a pleasant surprise, as the list mentioned having no Wi-Fi. Overall it was exactly what we thought and a bit more from what we could see on the listing.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Pickle's Cabin. It is located in a picturesque, private, wooded lot. The cabin is kept in immaculate condition and has every amenity one could want and more. My wife was saying, "let's come back here" before we had spent 10 minutes inside the front door. We loved it. Thank you for making our anniversary special and memorable, Deb!

We were in the area for a couples golf trip and Pickles Cabin was in a great central location for us. Deb was very easy to communicate with quick responses and was proactive in telling us that gps would take us past the driveway! We loved the very private location and definitely made use of the fire pit outside to enjoy and the unusually cool August weather. The cabin is a quaint home and is exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We will and already have recommended Pickles Cabin to friends who play at Sand Valley!

This was a very nice cabin that had everything we needed. I was exactly what was described. Deb was very accommodating with early check-in. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area. We are already planning another trip with this location in mind again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the pickles cabin! The cabin is just like the pictures, it’s very cozy! Deb was very helpful and communicative. It was the perfect way to spend 4th of July!

Deb was very accommodating and communicated great before and during our stay. The cabin was just as described and very private, if you’re looking to disconnect for a few days -this is a great place to do so and still have all the amenities of home. We also loved that there were several small towns and local restaurants within a short driving distance as well as several areas to hike and explore.

We were in town for a wedding and wanted somewhere that would be relaxing during the busy weekend. This house was just what we were looking for! Plenty of room the relax in a beautiful, quiet setting. We plan on returning for future trips for sure!

The cabin is just as described. No Wi-Fi but good cell service so I was able to use hotspot for tv late at night, and had no problems. Bed was comfy, shower water was hot, simple and roomy place. Worth the price. Drove to nearby Roche-a-Cri park to walk trails and hike up the steps on Saturday and had a meal before returning. The map on my iPhone shows the house address down the road a bit but if you watch for address signs you will see it clearly. Back in the woods and very private, but I could feel and hear some heavy trucks go by from the main road. Bunny rabbits hopped by the front door and birds chirping. Really enjoyed it.
