The cottage is a very comfortable, cozy place to stay for our family of four. Great hospitality. The house had all the amenities available to make us feel at home. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary dishes and cooking utensils needed to prepare and cook meals. Nice quiet neighborhood. Hosts responded in very timely manner when we had questions. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

The house was so cozy, although it was small, it was perfect for the weekend. It had everything we needed. My son was able to run to the Iron Belle Trail and finish his run on it, while my husband biked along side. They said it was really nice. We also went to see the Hiawatha statue which was a neat surprise considering we were up for the Pow-Wow. We will definitely stay again.

Truly enjoyed the stay. The cabin had a mix of old home charm with modern updates. Would stay again the next time we visit the UP.

The home was clean, updated, and right where we needed to be. The price was great for how much we got. The host were friendly, proactive and responsive. Would hardly recommend staying in there.

We really enjoyed Whitehouse Cottage! There were many updates to the home and the decor was great. The bedding and linens were amazing! It was great to come back to my hometown area and see the pride that they had in the property. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We had a great stay at Whitehouse Cottage. It’s on a quiet street but close to downtown and prime skiing. The kitchen was nice and well-equipped for us to cook in the evening. Great place to stay when in Ironwood!

We had a great stay! Our hosts checked in with us and were friendly and responsive. The house appeared as listed and had everything that we needed. The location was good and close enough to different attractions so we had lots to do!

The rental was fantastic. it is an easy walk to downtown. We were able to make it down to Plaidurday!

Our Whitehouse Cottage stay exceeded our expectations! Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the place was exactly as pictured. It was exceptionally clean compared to other places we have stayed in the past. Especially considering it is an older home. It stands out as our favorite place we have stayed to date. It is apparent that Clear Trail Properties know what they are doing. It was better equipped with everything from kitchen necessities, towels, blankets, grilling equipment, and even firewood for a fire pit. We didn't use the fire pit but it was a nice option had we have wanted to. Location wise, it was a perfect place to base out of while exploring the Upper Peninsula. There is so much to see and do in the area we didn't have time to explore everything. We plan on returning in the future at different times of the year for multiple activities. When we do, we definitely know where we'll be staying providing the place is available. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Very cozy place to stay! Has everything you need to cook at home. Bed was huge, bedroom is nice and the decorations are really cute! The A/C was struggling to keep up with the july heat but thankfully they had a separate AC unit in the bedroom to keep it cool at night.

Extremely clean and beautifully decorated home in quiet, safe, walkable neighborhood. Great central location to explore the area. Very comfortable furniture and beds with lovely linens including lots of extra blankets. Fully stocked kitchen and every amenity imaginable. We especially appreciated that it was dog friendly! There was an ongoing issue with the keypad entry but Jacqi and Jerald (very helpful maintenance team) were always quick to respond.

Perfect for our trip to the western UP! It was easy to get to the main road but removed enough to not experience any traffic noise. Neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt clean. I knew she accepted dogs so I was a little worried that previous tenants ;) would be noticeable, but I did not feel like the place smelled like dog and floors/furniture were clean! (So don't let the pet-friendly accommodation dissuade you if you're not a dog person.) The guidebook is very organized and I loved that she had a guestbook - I actually flipped through it and found recommendations from other guests! Only an hour from the Porcupine Mountains and a short ride to some awesome waterfalls along Black River. Close to snowmobile trails too so we'd love to come back here in the winter! Ashley and her cohost were friendly and very quick to respond to my questions - even before I booked the place - so I felt very comfortable with the stay. Great for our family!
